My name is Destiny Swen, I am an freshly graduated and I know have a bachelor's degree in graphic design from University of Wisconsin - Stout! I have been working on my skills on photoshop, illustrator, indesign, etc. and have been doing individual projects for a few years now. I am very passionate when it comes to designing and I always try to improve within my work with every project that I work on
My Story
Growing up, I always was into creating art, It didn't matter if I was creating a painting, drawing or writtig stories for my embarrassing YouTube channel. The idea of creating something and allowing your art into the world and possibly creating connections to who is out there from your artwork always inspired me to create more artwork. Growing up in mainly suburban neighborhoods, it was hard to feel represented as an African black woman and as I got older, I decided that I wanted to make sure when I am designing for my projects, I want to make sure that I am designing for people of color, to help represent my culture and help represent African women within the graphic design community.
